Job Title: Internal Auditor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at EG Group. As a key member of our Internal Controls Function, you will play a critical role in establishing an Internal Audit program that ensures the company's governance and compliance model is robust and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build relationships with stakeholders and establish a credible partnership to introduce an Internal audit program into the organisation.
* Communicate your strategy to senior leadership and gain sponsorship for your proposals through consultation and effective communication.
* Concisely report back findings clearly and factually, setting out recommendations for improvement.
* Prioritise your own agenda and input into a three lines of defence model.
* Counsel the Internal BAU teams so they can perform controls effectively and make necessary changes.
* Where appropriate, work on future acquisitions made by EG Group and support in ensuring they adopt standard processes as defined by EG Finance.
Requirements:
* A relevant internal audit, risk or accountancy qualification is desirable (IIA, IRM, ACA).
* Track record of independently testing controls and providing feedback.
* Experience of operating in a relatively complex business.
* IT literate and able to write reports and present to a good standard.
* Have an inventive and pro-active mind-set to independently identify controls related issues and recommend improvements.
* Confident in advising, presenting and providing detailed reporting to senior stakeholders.
