Summary
This role will give a good overview of Tinsdills, providing well rounded knowledge of the Accounts Department liaising with their internal and external clients and other agents that they deal with on a day to basis.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
To work in the Accounts department, having daily interactions with clients, filing documents, working alongside solicitors and other internal members of staff. Supporting the department by streamlining interactions ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and anti-money laundering procedures. Undertaking reconciliations of Client and Office ledgers and assisting with financial transactions.

* Taking payments over the telephone
* Answering client and staff queries
* Working with ledgers
* Monitoring online banking
* Sending monies to clients and other solicitors
* Reconciliations of client funds and ledgers
* Performance of day/month end reconciliations

* Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
* Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
* Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
* Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
* Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
