We are seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team of inclusion staff together with the Vice Principal of Deep Support. The ideal candidate will support children whose education is at risk, and help families to improve their children's access to learning. We serve a diverse and sometimes challenging community, but one which is full of potential and we need someone with integrity, innovation and drive to work with and support families in enabling all children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities.

The role of Attendance Manager/Education Welfare Officer will involve leading two attendance officers and an attendance assistant to engage students and their parents/carers where poor attendance is identified as a barrier to learning. The role is supported by the Outwood central attendance team who work alongside the academy to support our families to understand and value a top class education.
The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience of working with children and families and with other agencies is essential, preferably within an education welfare setting.
