Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Huntingdon, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication management
* Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
* Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment for clients
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families
* Strong sense of reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for client confidentiality
* Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards clients' diverse needs
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client transportation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
