About the role
We're looking for an Assistant Go To Market Manager to lead our seasonal campaigns & partnership initiatives such as Valentine's Day, Pride and Love Island. As well as leading campaigns this role will also support the GTM team in creating & delivering market leading campaigns for our biggest campaigns, working across multiple business units. The GTM function brings together customer, commercial and marketing strategies along with the latest shopper insights and trends to develop commercial & marketing briefs that form the basis of our marketing campaigns.
As an Assistant GTM Manager, you'll support the team in bringing together the key components and content of the plan, checking that it meets the objectives & campaign brief set by the GTM manager and ensuring deadlines are met and that the information is right first time to ensure optimal execution.
Key to the success of this role is the ability to collaborate and drive accountability amongst cross-functional teams including trading, marketing, online & planning teams to deliver against key priorities and maximise business growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop commercial and marketing knowledge for someone looking to accelerate their career within either the commercial or marketing functions!
Responsibilities
1. Leading and reviewing campaigns: you'll analyse trends and insights to set briefs for your campaigns. You'll also play a key role in checking that the commercial nominations across all campaigns match up to the brief that's been set, raising any challenges & ensuring that campaign creation remains on track.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to align on launch plans, ensuring a smooth product rollout both in-store and online.
3. Integrate Commercial and Marketing Plans: Support the alignment of commercial and marketing teams to overall plans.
4. Manage nominations: You'll work closely with Marketing and Category teams to ensure that products and offers nominated fit and align to the brief.
What you'll need to have
1. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to develop and communicate compelling messaging for a wide variety of audiences, both internal and external.
2. Creativity and Innovation: We need someone who thrives on thinking outside the box. Bring bold, new ideas to the table that will make a real impact on how we go to market.
3. Drive and Enthusiasm: You're energised by challenges and always looking for new ways to innovate. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering results.
4. Experience: A solid understanding of Go-to-Market strategy would be great, if not then having an understanding around Marketing and Commercial with the ability to make key decisions to benefit commercially. Prior experience in the health and beauty sectors also preferred but not essential.
5. Strategic Thinker with a Data-Driven Approach: You know how to leverage data and insights to shape strategy and measure success. You balance creativity with a commercial mindset to deliver measurable outcomes.
