Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a leading distribution centre based in Andover. This is working on week to week basis covering holiday and sickness in the company and is a temp ongoing position.Responsibilities:- Assisting in the compilation of weekly transport statistics- Assisting in the management and recording of road transport directive- Ensure that all staff are debriefed in conjunction with the debrief system and that all paperwork is compliance- Ensure reports are produced in an accurate and timely fashion- Handle day to day queries from drivers, customers, and other internal departments- Liaising with stores to keep them up to date with any delivery problems- Tachograph control in line with legal requirements- To carry out 'front of house' duties in issuing paperwork, fuel card, keys etc- To assist department in taking all drivers phone queries and logging calls- Undertake control of the yard, Manhattan, and Paragon computer systems- Temperature monitoringRequirements- Experience within a similar transport role- Excellent telephone manner- Proficient with Microsoft Packages- Ability to work under pressure- Available immediately- Excellent organisational skillsThe Transport Administrator Role:- 6pm - 6am, 4 on 4 off shift pattern on nights- Temp ongoing role- Paying £15.57 per hour- Opportunity to work for a leading household nameIf you are interested in this Transport Administrator position, please apply below with an up to date CV or get in touch with Amy at Pertemps.
