Production Operative Location : Hessle, Hull Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rotating shift pattern Salary : £12 per hour in training, £12.84 once trained on first machine (roughly about 8 weeks), rising to £14.84 per hour with further training Due to our continuous growth we have another exciting opportunity. Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing: As a Production Operative you will play a pivotal role in creating high quality products for our customers. You will be: Setting and operating machines, working on a production line Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced Conducting quality checks of the product Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch Meeting production targets Completing production paperwork Completing daily checks Follow Safe Working Practices Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations Full training will be provided. A Few Things About You: You must be a team player, be self-motivated, resilient under pressure and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and self-discipline to get the work done as you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers. You will also have a great eye for detail as Quality is very important to us. This role requires standing for long periods. Your Experience Will Include: Having previously worked as a production operative in manufacturing (Desirable) or; Having previously worked in a practical manual role When You’ll Be Working: Ability to work on the below two-week rotational shift pattern: Early Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00 Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 22:30 Friday: 14:00 to 20:00 Who We Are: Flexipol is in its 30th year, and during this time the business has grown steadily each year, providing long term secure employment.
