Kingsway Care, CareGiver Role
Due to continued company growth, Kingsway Care are looking for professional and competent CareGivers to join our Brighton and Worthing teams. Our focus is to assist clients to remain or become independent at home by supporting them with domestic and clinical tasks, medication management, personal care and the provision of essential companionship, where required, to help combat loneliness.
We’re also a social bunch, understanding the importance of building a strong team ethos. We operate an ‘open office’ where carers can pop in at any time, catch up with us over a cup of tea, have their lunch and generally interact with other team members.
Principal Responsibilities
Forget the historical stereotype of this being an easy, unqualified role – our caregivers are trained to a high standard, allowing them to engage professionally with our clients, delivering life sustaining and lifesaving support every day.
Each Kingsway Care carer will be required to deliver home care visits to several clients every day, within our local area, and have the ability to share information with the office team, through clear and effective communication.
Your reliable, naturally caring and passionate nature will bring positive engagement to each person, allowing you to meet the care needs of every client in a way that respects their dignity and promotes their independence.
Qualifications
We appreciate the value of care experience, although we also welcome the transferrable skills that come from other sectors. We have carers and office staff with a mix of backgrounds, which has proved invaluable, contributing to the wonderful diversity of our team. We provide a comprehensive in-house training programme, which will either refresh and enhance your existing knowledge, or provide you with new skills to deliver high quality, professional care to our clients.
All Kingsway Care carers will be trained to complete personal care and clinical tasks, the importance of accurate medication management, to support a client with mobility limitations and physical disabilities, alongside the fundamental knowledge in relation to safeguarding, compliance and safe practices.
This role also requires a capacity for personable engagement, a readiness to display effective time management and good organisational skills, in addition to excellent verbal and written skills.
We are looking to recruit for full-time, part-time and weekend roles. So, if this sounds like you and you are passionate about providing wonderful, person-centred care in your community, we'd love to hear from you!
