Job Description
As a BIDBI Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for handling new enquiries and managing existing accounts. Your role will be to build upon and retain relationships on a business-to-business platform. Furthermore, you will be responsible for obtaining new business by means of correspondence combining telephone contact, email, and face-to-face at a variety of trade shows and networking events. You will behave professionally and have an interest in Fairtrade ethics.
Main Job Duties
* Managing existing accounts and ensuring the positive relationship is maintained to ensure repeat orders.
* Seeking new business by appropriate means in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (2018).
* Exploring product type and availability to best suit customer needs.
* Working closely with the Sales Account Manager team, Merchandising, Production, Quality Control, and Design & Marketing to ensure orders are fulfilled in accordance with our KPIs.
* Experience working in a customer service-based role.
* Passion and drive to work for an ethical organisation.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage a large portfolio of accounts.
* Driven to explore new markets.
* Digital marketing experience.

Your responsibilities
* Managing existing accounts.
* Seeking new business via email and phone reach outs to relevant companies.
* Responding to enquiries by email or phone within the SLA.
* Using CRM system to produce detailed and professional quotations for customers.
* Using current price guide and freight costs to calculate accurate and competitive pricing.
* Providing samples/visuals where required.
* Follow-ups with potential clients/management of current opportunities to provide a status update.
* Brand awareness of client base in conjunction with key events i.e. festivals, events, seasonal changes, etc.
* Dealing with complaints appropriately and effectively.
* Ensuring accurate product knowledge.
* Teamwork – ensuring you collaborate with your colleagues to manage appropriate sectors, provide cover during absence, both planned and unexpected.
* Problem Solving.
* Managing KPIs.
* Assessing own performance against targets.
* Liaison with Production and/or Merchandising to ensure that your clients’ needs can be met/orders fulfilled.
* Generating new business - ensuring the growth of the account books and the business by exploring possible new markets and new clients through research and use of social media.
* Cold emailing/calling.
* Contacting the appropriate person by researching role within an organisation.
* Working closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and Finance to explore products available to suit potential customers.
* Attendance at appropriate trade shows and events.
* Arranging meetings with clients, where reasonably practicable.
