The UK / I Customization team is responsible for the development of all co-packing activities for UK and Irish markets. Through a team of 6 direct reports, this role is responsible for delivering co-pack SKU development, driving harmonization across structures, processes & suppliers across all category portfolios and generating / implementing continuous improvement and productivity opportunities across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the UK / I Customization team to deliver all co-pack related activities within I2M projects and re-work activity on time & in full, considering time, quality and costs across UK and Irish markets.
* Proactively manage team resourcing against pipeline and peak activity plans in a volatile and fast-paced Commercial environment.
* Act actively as a key partner to commercial stakeholders (sales, Marketing, PPOS) to provide cost-effective CoPacking solutions to stimulate business growth and enable BIC delivery.
* Swiftly address supply/service issues relating to Customization activity. Understand root cause, identify solutions and implement remedial actions to ensure continuity of supply and prevent reoccurrence.
* Drive continuous improvement of the co-pack display portfolio in collaboration with Packaging Suppliers and Procurement teams to support growth, deliver savings & achieve harmonization targets; as a minimum, maintain existing 80% harmonization level for co-pack display.
* Drive business understanding of & discipline to Co-pack process & program - work with key stakeholders (PCM, & Co-pack Operations Manager, & Category Planning) to deliver program governance & identify/deliver process improvements.
* Support the relationship with strategic 3PL co-pack suppliers to ensure best for business solutions (displays & non-displays).
* Identify & drive productivity initiatives to support delivery of UK / I annual Productivity targets and beyond.
* Represent Co-pack & CS&L agendas in UK / I i2m core meetings.
* Coach & support a team of 6 direct reports.
* Support T2 and T3 packaging development responsibilities, driving BIC offer against business and customer needs.
* Ensure comprehensive process and documentation compliance to Quality and Audit standards.
* Temporarily coach and manage in addition to Nordics Customization team and projects until full re-organization implementation in Oct '24 (2 Nordics FTE).
Requirements:
* Project management experience essential to provide support and direction to the project management team.
* Supply Chain / CS&L experience an advantage.
* Commercial experience / stakeholders management an advantage.
* Packaging technical knowledge an advantage.
* Line management experience an advantage.
