Your role will involve ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the young people throughout the night while maintaining a calm and secure environment. Key Responsibilities Include Ensuring the safety and security of the young people during the night. Responding to any needs or issues that arise overnight. Managing challenging behaviours if required. Keeping accurate logs and records during the shift. Adhering to organisational policies and procedures. This role requires availability for night shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins, which will be discussed further at the interview. About You We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children/young people. Experience with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs is preferred. You should be dependable, patient, and able to manage situations calmly and independently during the night. Essential Requirements Right to work in the UK. GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent). Minimum of 6 months relevant experience working with children/young people. Willingness to complete a Level 4 Diploma if not already achieved. Compliant with pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, and proof of right to work. Desirable Full UK driving license. Schedule Night shifts, including weekends.
