Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, personalised care to clients, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and medication reminders.
2. Prepare meals, manage household tasks, and ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
3. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
4. Work closely with the client’s family and healthcare team, ensuring clear and accurate communication of any changes in the client’s health or care needs.
5. Maintain detailed records of care provided, and conduct a thorough handover each Monday at the end of your rotation.
Qualifications
Requirements:
6. A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to promoting clients' independence and well-being.
7. Previous experience in care.
8. Flexibility, patience, and a respectful approach to clients’ needs and preferences.
9. Availability to work on a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation, with mandatory Monday morning handovers.
10. The ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and the Home Instead care team.
11. A driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is advantageous but not essential.
