Introduction:
The PMO Manager - Generative AI Programme plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of the BBC's Generative AI programme and initiatives. Working closely with the Programme Manager, this role is responsible for tracking programme deliverables, managing risks and dependencies across multiple AI projects, and ensuring effective governance and reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Track and monitor programme deliverables, ensuring alignment with the BBC's Generative AI Work Plan.
2. Manage programme-wide risks, issues, and dependencies.
3. Work closely with the Programme Manager to maintain programme governance.
4. Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms.
5. Prepare and deliver status reports for the Generative AI Steering Group.
6. Support cross-team collaboration.
7. Ensure project governance frameworks are adhered to.
8. Maintain up-to-date programme documentation.
9. Identify and drive continuous improvements in PMO processes.

8. Familiarity with AI, digital transformation, or innovation programmes is desirable.
