Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy department. Based mainly in the Emergency Department under the guidance of the pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be flexible and comfortable with changes in routine, responding to the needs of the service by providing medicines management support to our Emergency Department colleagues. They will be involved in the organising and tidying stock, working with the multi-disciplinary team, as well as general pharmacy duties. This role would suit someone who is committed to providing high quality patient safety focused care utilising excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a large team. Main duties of the job The required candidate must have excellent organisational and time management skills as they will be responsible for a variety of dispensary-based activities as well as team leading opportunities.
