Business Support Administrator Location: Welwyn Garden City Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-5:00pm Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 About the Role The Business Systems Support Administrator will support various business functions by managing system-related requests and ensuring seamless operations across platforms. They will be responsible for handling small-scale system changes from approval to implementation, managing stakeholder expectations, and delivering training to users across different teams. In this role, the administrator will assist in maintaining system efficiency, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to both technical and non-technical users. They will also contribute to the improvement of training materials and the overall functionality of business systems. Key Responsibilities ·Manage support tickets through the IT service desk, reviewing progress regularly. ·Develop and maintain training materials (e.g., guides, short videos) and deliver training sessions to internal teams and external users. ·Provide first-line technical support for business applications, websites, and integrated systems. ·Investigate and resolve integration issues between key platforms such as CRM, call centre tools, and web applications. ·Manage user access and permissions, including setting up new users and maintaining security protocols. ·Oversee small system changes, ensuring proper documentation and communication of risks. ·Liaise with key stakeholders to manage support requests and system improvements. ·Provide ad-hoc help desk support as needed. About the Candidate ·Experience in developing and delivering training materials is essential. ·Strong ability to collaborate with business users and stakeholders to achieve objectives. ·A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. ·Knowledge of change management processes is desirable. ·A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. ·Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage digital content effectively. ·Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. ·Experience in documenting processes and procedures. ·Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
