The applicant is required to:
Have knowledge of the mission, teachings and the philosophy of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji.
Be fluent in speaking, reading and writing Punjabi
Have knowledge and be able to read the Gurbani in the Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Change the bedding on which the Guru Granth Sahib Ji is kept as and when required
Maintain a clean and tidy Darbar Sahib (main prayer hall) and Sachkhand Sahib (residence for holy scriptures)
Be able to play traditional musical instruments and take part in Kirtan (singing of hymns)
Assist in the performance of Anand Karaj (Marriage Ceremony) and funeral service.
The applicant may be required to perform other tasks that can reasonably be expected of a religious worker.
Minimum of 10 hours per week Salary £11.44 per hour.

Note:
The religious worker will report to the Minister of Religion for the Temple who leads the Religious Sub-Committee.
