Operations Manager – Coventry

£30,000 40 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a commercially minded Operations Manager. You will lead and contribute to the day-to-day management of the service operations for Coventry Building Society Arena and plan for future special events. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation and support APCOA’s development in the Midlands.
Customer service is key to the success of this account. The Operations Manager must ensure that all team members are focused on delivering consistently excellent levels of service. This includes all stakeholders, particularly members of the public.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Consistently explore new business growth opportunities and beneficial relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure that APCOA is well-placed to expand upon its service offering.
2. Act as the principal operational point of contact between the Coventry Building Society Arena and APCOA.
3. You will be responsible for account management and business development.
4. Manage, motivate and lead the contract team.
5. Work in partnership with the client and key stakeholders to provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
6. Work with the Contract Manager to ensure the contract’s budget and financial performance is realised.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. A proven multi-disciplinary experience in operational, contract, commercial and project management.
2. Experienced in setting and managing budgets and KPIs performance.
3. Strong leadership and people management skills; able to coach, motivate and train staff to produce positive results.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a focus upon continuous improvement and can effectively operate with the minimum of supervision and direction.

1. Salary of up to £30,000.
