A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford is looking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position with full class teaching responsibilities.

About the Role:
Take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering a rich and engaging curriculum.
Provide a warm, structured environment to support the transition from Early Years into Key Stage 1.
Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Work collaboratively with a supportive KS1 team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Promote a positive classroom culture where pupils feel safe, happy, and eager to learn.About You:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 - Year 1 experience is desirable but not essential.
A passion for early education and a nurturing teaching style.
Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour.
