Field Service Technician -- Shrewsbury, MA

Arjo’s Field Repair Technician provides hands-on preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo's medical equipment. This position is based out of Arjo’s Shrewsbury service center but will involve occasional travel (approx 20% overnight) to other Arjo locations. All travel and training paid by Arjo.
The successful candidate will need to have an intermediate understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components, and a fundamental understanding of the tools and processes required to complete the work.
Day-to-Day Functions:
* Provide preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades and in-servicing at Arjo’s customer accounts.
* Assess and diagnose, estimate cost for, and complete repairs on customer-owned medical equipment.
* Provide training and support for quality-related service activities, such as quality control (QC) checks, product transportation processes, aesthetic maintenance and product cleaning.
* Complete all required training programs, meetings and seminars.
* Follow all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements and regulatory agencies.
* Work flexible hours and occasional weekends to meet business/customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate’s degree in an electrical or mechanical field, or equivalent work experience.
* Repair and maintenance experience with electrical and/or electromechanical equipment; experience with medical equipment preferred.
* Repair or Maintenance Training and/or Certification preferred.
* Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
* Able to lift up to 30 pounds, able to push and pull 55 pounds.
