We are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join us in Oxford.
You will ensure day-to-day management of all Facilities requirements are met. To assist on storage, maintenance, and archiving of deeds/wills and probate files, using a computerised database system. To assist the Facilities Supervisor with H&S requirements including new starter inductions and maintenance of records. Cover and support will be required at certain times in our other offices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cover mail room duties on a daily basis
2. Provide support to all internal RWK Goodman clients regarding stationery and other miscellaneous requests as and when required
3. Providing reprographics support for all departments on request
4. Ordering of stationery, lighting, cash & carry consumables
5. Investigate and respond accordingly to any reports of breakdowns or faults. Contacting & arranging maintenance/repair of services where required
6. Oversee cleaning standards, liaise with company if issues
7. Assist the Facilities Supervisor in the procurement of consumables, non-consumable, and general services for all RWK Goodman offices
8. Act as representative when sourcing/agreeing new contracts
9. Assist in planning & execution of office moves within agreed timeframes
10. Manage storeroom, control of rubbish/recycling, and kitchen standards
11. Complete H&S inductions for new members of staff ensuring accurate records are kept, supported by the H&S Co-ordinator
12. Travel to other offices to cover
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
1. Experience working in a Facilities role
2. Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C (Including English and Maths)
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
4. Previous experience within a customer service role or office environment
5. Previous experience within a legal environment is desirable
6. Excellent organisation capability with the ability to effectively prioritise
7. Client service focused
