The postholder will be responsible for the receipt, sorting, and displaying of merchandise, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times, while being friendly and helpful at all times. The prime purpose of the post is to maximise income and profit and ensure the shop is well presented and managed in accordance with the shops policy and standards, whilst ensuring The Kirkwood has a high profile and understanding by the local community. The teamwork, communication and training of volunteers is a key part of the post.
