North Somerset Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) currently offers a range of innovative and informed approaches, supports personal development and growth and a range of CPD opportunities with a comprehensive in-house training programme. We offer flexible working patterns and have the benefit of working across 2 sites in Weston-Super-Mare and Clevedon. The team also provides Eating Disorder and Learning Disability Services and so have the potential to offer development opportunities. The successful candidate will be part of a stimulating and supportive multidisciplinary service, working alongside the clinical service lead, as part of the leadership team. This post is substantive but a secondment would be considered. This post will also enable the post holder to use, and develop their clinical skills, as a proportion of time is allocated for direct clinical work. Working in partnership with the locality Clinical service lead, the post holder will ensure excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team, and ensure the best use of available resources to deliver positive outcomes for individual young people and their families. The post-holder, alongside the clinical lead, will manage, direct and lead a recovery orientated, multi-disciplinary integrated CAMHS & Specialist LD service in a community setting The post also has an element of direct clinical work.
