About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will provide specialist financial and commercial decision-making support & analysis and formulate reports and recommendations in order to drive better business performances across Aged Care and Emerging Business.
This is a permanent full-time position with flexible location options. You can choose to work from your preferred setting, whether that's your home or one of our LWB offices.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct company analyses in order to formulate reports, recommendations, historical analyses, and trend forecasts.
* Provide objective and relevant market analysis and modelling to support the development of budgets and business plans.
* Develop and deliver customised client reporting in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Analyse, evaluate, and report on the commercial viability of various business proposals.
* Develop and initiate measurable improvements to work processes.
* Implement and embed all Corporate Services & Finance systems, processes, and procedures into core business activity.
* Coordinate forecasting and budgeting processes based on performance reports and other internal and external factors by staying abreast of industry developments and changes.
* Advise on the financial implications of management decisions, ensuring decisions and proposed activities are commercially responsible and financially sound.
* Consistently apply LWB financial and accounting principles, procedures, and practices.
* Support the financial accounting and corporate support teams in implementing process change and improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary level qualifications in Finance or Accounting discipline.
* Member of CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalent.
* Demonstrated application of commercial acumen.
* Experience in a Business Analysis position.
* Ability to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities and offer commercial judgments.
* Business partnering skills.
* Reporting and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated experience in building strong internal relationships.
* Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
