Specialist Practitioner in Fertility Care (Donation)
This is a rare chance for an experienced Fertility Nurse to take the next step in their career into the field of donation and surrogacy or for someone with experience in donation.
Donation Practitioners support these patient types:
1. Egg/embryo recipients
2. Shared motherhood cases
3. Known egg donors
4. Known sperm donors
5. Surrogacy arrangements intended parents and surrogates
6. Altruistic egg, embryo and sperm donors
This is a hybrid role managing the following clinical aspects of these patients' journey:
1. Assessment
2. Consultation
3. FG and Screening sign off
4. Prescribing
5. Treatment plan
6. Planning and injection teach
7. Clinical queries
8. Referral to medical team where applicable in the pathway
As a Specialist Practitioner, you will work closely with the Donation Lead and Donation Manager to provide clinical care for donation services, the surrogacy support team, and the donor support team.
You’ll support inductions of new starters, along with their training and development, while actively implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve business area performance.

You’ll need the following skills/experience:
1. A qualification in adult nursing Degree/Diploma as well as being a registered NMC Nurse is essential
2. Essential to have post-registration experience working within an acute hospital setting
Location/Benefits:
This is a full-time, hybrid role, with 6-to-8-week training at our Manchester Clinic (108-112 Daisy Bank Road, M14 5QH). After training, you’ll predominantly work remotely with flexibility to come into the clinic for training/development.

Salary starting from £37,000 depending on experience
