Service Manager - Children with Disabilities
Initial 6-month interim contract
Inside IR35 - £450 per day (via umbrella, negotiable dependent upon experience)
London
An exciting new interim opportunity has arisen in London for an experienced Service Manager to support Children with Disabilities for an initial 6-month interim period following internal movement within the council.
Role will include day to day operations of the service but additionally conduct a diagnostic review of the functionality of the service and make recommendations for service improvements.
About your duties as the Service Manager - Children with Disabilities:
1. You will be reporting to the Head of Locality but responsible for leading CWD services across the directorate from Assessment to permanency for young people up to 18 years of age.
2. You will work collaboratively with partners across Adults services to support with preparation for adulthood and dovetail with SEND services to deliver positive outcomes in a multi-agency setting.
3. A priority for you coming in as a leader is to provide a diagnostic review of the service and make recommendations for where opportunities for development are, collaborating with leaders in QA.
Your experience needed as the Service Manager - Children with Disabilities:
1. Degree qualification in Social Work.
2. Good understanding of application of social care model within CWD services.
3. Embedded understanding and experience of CWD.
4. Experience working in a multi-agency context.
5. Service Manager experience in CWD.
6. Available references for most recent 2 years' roles.
