My client, a very welcoming and growing worldwide manufacturer, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to complement their existing team.
Reporting to the Senior Lead, the Finance Manager will manage a small team and will be responsible for producing high-quality management and statutory financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the AP/AR team (4 people) to ensure suppliers are paid according to terms and supplier statements reconciled.
2. Oversee all treasury functions including cash allocation and bank reconciliations.
3. Post journals to support high-quality financial reporting.
4. Complete month-end group reporting to overseas parent company.
5. Assist in the production of statutory accounts for all UK companies (including Audit work).
6. Support with the production of ONS and VAT reporting.
7. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
The Person:
* Qualified Accountant or QBE considered.
* Prior experience of managing and working in a manufacturing organization (desirable).
* Strong Excel skills.
