In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and will assist with installations, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring optimal performance of automation solutions.

Customer Support Engineer - Role:
* First point of contact for customer service, field support, and sales requests
* Prepare and present sales proposals/quotations, secure/renew orders
* Assess customer needs and offer solutions based on company products/services
* Provide proactive sales support to enhance customer experience and growth
* Manage opportunity pipeline and collaborate with consultants and account managers
* Handle customer enquiries, track interactions, and escalate priority issues
* Document activities and reports using IT tools (Salesforce, SAP, Office)
* Stay updated on product knowledge and participate in training to enhance skills
Customer Support Engineer - Person:
* Degree in electrical/electronics, industrial automation, or related field
* Experience in preparing sales quotes, reports, and presentations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and IT tools
* Strong customer relationship skills, achieving sales targets as part of a team
* Ability to process transactions such as quotes, contracts, and mixed product solutions
Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from within and around the following locations: Birmingham Central, Birmingham South, Dudley, Quinton, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Harborne, Smethwick, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, and Wednesbury.
