About the role
We are currently recruiting a Leadership Support Manager to lead and manage a flexible team of Leadership Team Assistants while building and maintaining the stakeholder relationships of our Business Leaders and Directors. Flexible cross functional support allows us to provide a consistent service and when vital, the capacity and model is reviewed in line with our culture of continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for
* Fulfil core line management of the LTA’s, providing mentorship and support where needed
* Proactively planning to deliver a flexible, cross-functional service plan so all Business Leaders and Directors receive a consistent service level
* Investing time to understand areas and collaborating with relevant Leadership Team Assistants in their function
* Having a great succession plan to recruit, retain and support our best talent
* Continuously reviewing the capability within the team and encourage them to take ownership of their development
* Crafting an environment and atmosphere where the team will thrive and drive positive behaviour
* Partnering with your Business Leaders and Directors to understand any feedback and suggestions for improvement and to celebrate success
* Consistently look for ways to improve own performance and personal development through an active PDP, learning and giving/seeking feedback to continuously improve
* Continually looking for simplifications and efficiencies to improve the systems and processes that are in place
You will need
* Line management experience
* Able to understand key partners priorities and processes, and building relationships to influence decisions whilst assessing needs and adapting leadership style accordingly
* Effective negotiation skills: Maintaining proactive and positive dialogue with colleagues and decision-makers
* Presentation skills: Presenting facts and pros and cons to enable stakeholders to feel comfortable with proposed solutions
* Flexible leadership styles: Using a variety of leadership styles comfortably to meet the needs of different situations
* Strategic partnering experience
* Agile approach: Understanding the Agile manifesto and principles to inspire change and flexibility in processes
* Collaborative and independent working in a fast-paced environment, navigating complexity to deliver a valuable outcome
