Human Resources Manager
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Car allowance and Benefits
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Exciting new role working for a global Maintenance company, overseeing the HR team. This is a multi-contract position that will require travelling to sites in Milton Keynes and Cambridgeshire. Due to the nature of certain contracts, the successful Human Resources Manager will be required to go through a level of security clearance.
Duties for the HR Manager will include:
1. Dealing with compliance issues, delivering contractual commitments, managing risk and process improvement.
2. Overseeing the delivery of day-to-day HR and training activities, including dealing with employee relations issues and managing recruitment and selection.
3. Driving business development by identifying training needs, ensuring required training is delivered, and coaching the management population.
4. Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to support the business in retaining and winning new business through driving business excellence.
Qualifications and Experience required:
1. Graduate or equivalent with generalist HR experience.
2. Sound working knowledge of operational HR and training issues.
3. Solid understanding of UK HR policies, best practice, and UK employment law.
4. Experience of training employees in a facilities management environment (preferable).
