We are a leading company in the pet supplement industry, dedicated to producing high-quality flaxseed-based nutritional products that promote the health and well-being of pets. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Production and Warehouse Assistant to join our team and help us maintain our high standards in manufacturing and production.
Job Summary
You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, packaging, and quality control of animal health supplements for cats, dogs, and horses. You will work in a fast-paced environment and ensure that production processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.
* Preparing animal health products for retail sale - raw material handling; mixing, bottling, packaging & labeling
* Monitoring the quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards
* Production room operations – machinery & equipment use and maintenance, cleaning & sanitizing to maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly production outputs
* Support warehouse operations by organizing materials and products for shipment
* Documentation record keeping and cleaning duties in accordance with Risk Management Programme and Health & Safety requirements
* Physical stamina - standing for long periods & lifting >25kg...you'll be 90% on your feet, this isn't an office desk job!
