I am working on behalf of a small, independent Home Care company based near Saffron Walden as they look to bolster their office team. This is a Deputy Manager role to assist the Registered Manager in running the branch, assist with training staff, assessments, supervisions and appraisals.
The Company:
1. Small Home Care company, they deliver around 140 Domiciliary Care hours per week and have 10 live-in care packages
2. Rated “Good” in all areas with CQC
3. They have over 25 care staff and 3 within the office
4. Provide Live-in Care, Dementia & End of Life care as well as Domiciliary Care
The role:
5. To assist the Registered Manager in running the branch
6. Responsible for training staff
7. Ensuring care provided is in line with CQC regulations
8. Carrying out assessments
9. Carrying out supervisions and doing appraisals
Required competencies:
10. Strong experience within the care sector
11. Previous experience in managing a team or an individual
12. Believe in person-centred care in line with the companies’ values
13. Outgoing personality and good people skills
14. Good CQC knowledge
15. Training experience is preferable
