As a Practice Development Nurse you will join the CLCH Academy Team where you will be supported with your development whether this is at undergraduate or post graduate level. We want to invest in your development.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must have excellent clinical and teaching skills, be able to work with different groups of staff and have excellent communication and organisational skills. You must be able to work well as a member of a team, identify learning gaps and put together development plans to progress clinical competencies and career development.
You must be highly motivated, flexible and adaptable to change and be willing to innovate and try new things. The post holder will be committed to the success of the team and the Academy.

Education/Qualifications
* Registered Nurse
* Educated to level 7 qualification
* Evidence of continuing personal and professional development
* Clinical Leadership training
Experience
* Significant senior experience within community district nursing
* Experience in taking forward clinical and service change
* Experience of working in a changing and uncertain environment.
* Experience of delivering on development initiatives and leading change with individuals and teams.
* Experience of working with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience of using evidence to inform best practice
* Experience of engaging with patients, the public and stakeholders
* Experience of report writing and presentation
* Learning and Development Qualification
Skills and Knowledge
* Knowledge of the national priorities relating to provision of district nursing services
* Knowledge of practice development and change management.
