The ideal candidate would be an experienced Practice Nurse currently working in General Practice. We are looking for someone who has experience in chronic disease and case load management to include: Diabetes COPD Asthma Coronary Heart Disease Atrial Fibrillation Anticoagulation Monitoring as well as NOAC and DOAC Therapy Cervical Cytology Childhood Immunisations Travel Immunisations Vaccination Programme Training in Flu and Covid Spirometry Learning Disabilities The following personal attributes are essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuing professional development. Ability to develop clinical protocols to be implemented and used within our wider team. Ability to prioritise workload and time manage. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team without relying on supervision. The successful candidate will hold a Registered General Nurse qualification and be registered with the NMC. We have a fantastic supportive and friendly Clinical and Admin Team. There are three GP partners, one salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses, one HCAs and one practice Pharmacist. Our clinical system is Emis We have a list size of approximately 8400 patients. We are part of a dynamic Cluster Network and have great working relationships with community and secondary teams, MDT and third sector collaboration working. High QI, QAIF, LECES & Access Standards achievement.
