An esteemed mainstream secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join their team starting February 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to engage students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels in exploring diverse religious perspectives and fostering critical thinking skills.

Role and Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Religious Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

* Encourage students to critically analyze religious texts, teachings, and ethical dilemmas.
* Facilitate meaningful discussions and reflective activities that promote spiritual and moral development.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Relevant degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
* Experience teaching Religious Studies or a related subject at Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 level.
* Deep knowledge and understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
