The Role As a Dispatch Assistant in our Dispatch team at Origin Coffee, you will be essential in ensuring every customer receives their order accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with our Dispatch Coordinator’s and led by our Dispatch Manager to maintain seamless operations in our Packing & Dispatch department. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders with precision, conducting daily stock checks, and coordinating stock requirements to support smooth daily operations. This is a full time temporary position with the potential to become permanent following a review in January. Working hours will follow a rota system, generally covering Monday afternoon through to Saturday morning. Key Responsibilities Order Fulfilment: Prepare labels, pick and pack online orders accurately. Collaboration: Work within a small team led by the Dispatch Coordinator to complete tasks efficiently. Stock Management: Conduct daily stock checks and assist in ensure our stock inventory is accurate and well managed. Problem Solving: Address and report stock issues or operational concerns to the appropriate person. Skills & Qualities Detail-oriented, good time management, and teamwork skills. Adaptable, flexible, and strong problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working on your feet all day; the role has a significant level of physical stamina required. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across teams. Passion for customer experience and satisfaction and commitment to quality. Desirable Experience in speciality coffee.
