Come and join our dynamic Specialist Mental Health Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to quality mental health services for our Cheshire East and Cheshire West population. You will be working alongside a well-established Specialist Mental Health Senior Leadership Team including Clinical Leads, Operational Leadership, and Corporate Leadership who will support you in delivering on Community Mental Health Quality.
You will work collaboratively with the Head of Clinical Services, Head of Operations, Associate Director of Operations, and the Strategic and Business Lead to support and influence the strategic development of services in line with national and local priorities, internally and across organisations.
Please note, a presentation on a specific topic relating to quality in the NHS will be required. The topic will be shared upon shortlisting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a lead role in the implementation, oversight, and assurance of all quality aspects in both Cheshire East and West.
You will support the Head of Clinical Service in the delivery of safe and effective services by providing day-to-day clinical oversight of the service including clinical leadership, support, supervision, and performance management to qualified and support staff, liaising closely with other health teams, Social Services, and Voluntary Agencies to maximise service provision and optimise patient care.
You will liaise with Heads of Services, Head of Operations, Team Managers, Directors, Practice Education Facilitators, Professional Leads, Corporate teams as well as service users/carers and with a wide range of external partners such as commissioners, CQC, and other Health providers.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Recognised qualifications to degree level or equivalent
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
* ECDL or equivalent
Knowledge and Expertise
* Up to date knowledge of modern service delivery and national plans for health and social care
* Budget management
* Understanding of project management methodology and approaches
* Understanding of service improvement tools and techniques
* Knowledge of clinical governance and the Health Care Standards
* Knowledge of the relationship between Commissioners, Providers, Local Authority, and third sector
Experience
* Evidence of considerable management experience underpinned by in-depth study and experiential learning e.g. experience of working in a clinical setting at a senior level, i.e. Team Leader or above
* Evidence of leadership and change management
* Evidence of innovation
* Research and Audit
