Contract Manager (building repairs), Hull area, £37,000 - £45,000 (hourly paid based on 42.50-hour standard week 07:30-16:30, Monday-Friday (hours negotiable).
Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful building repairs company, who are now looking to appoint a Contract Manager to join its established team.
The Contract Manager will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to policyholders’ satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a construction professional with a trade background in building or repairs; a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment, or someone who is involved in managing insurance claim repairs.
As Contract Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
* Managing in-house tradespeople and subcontractors
* Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
* Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
* Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradespeople
* Office based planning and communications
We are looking for a Contract Manager who has the following skills and experience:
* A strong background in building trades
* Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential
* Excellent communication skills within the team environment
* Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous
* Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage
* H&S knowledge
