JOB PURPOSE
As part of the team that delivers all reports, dashboards and trending for the Pilgrims Shared Services businesses within Europe you will play a vital role in a IT transformation programme delivering a suite of enterprise wide applications (MTech, Innova & SAP).
This role will analyse and clearly define business reporting requirements, gathering an understanding of systems used and processes followed. Based on this concise requirement and project documentation will be completed. These will form the basis of development which this role should be able to complete using Qlik products and SQL.
This role also provides secondary level support to internal customers on existing or new reporting solutions. This role will also help in the support of the Qlik installations.
Central to this role is the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with key business users across all divisions within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake analysis and reporting development work, (analysis, design, systems development, understanding and matching user requirements, implementing, support and maintaining) related to existing and new reporting requirements, processes and procedures.
Perform user support function for all corporate reporting where applicable
Develop functional design, systems specification, testing and implementation plans for reporting requests.
All aspects of business systems/reporting development including:
o Business process and systems analysis
o Internal customer interfacing
o Consultancy and user support
o Business reporting development and exploitation
Liaise with the IT team.
Liaise with IT software development team with new development specifications.
Maintain open liaison with ERP supplier representatives and support desk.
Work with colleagues within IT at our parent company, Pilgrim’s Pride, to build out an SAP reporting skillset which will benefit the Pilgrims European businesses.
To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
Any other reasonable duties as may be required.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong academic background and a working history that demonstrates relevant technical expertise and the analytical/ problem solving ability required within business information system reporting and delivery.
Proven track record in development and delivery of effective corporate reporting and related business system tools; typically a minimum 3 years work experience is to be expected to be able to demonstrate the depth and breadth of technical skills and understanding of business reporting tools required.
Extensive knowledge of the Qlik or equivalent BI products (PowerBI, Tableau) and demonstrable track record in reporting development using the product.
Experience dealing with internal customers at all business levels.
Experience working within an ERP or large business installation environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent written English skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
Ability to work in and help develop a team approach
