FLT OPERATORS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE STARTS ASAP!!
If you have experience driving FLT trucks and are interested in working on an in-house license (subject to successful assessment/training), please reach out!
Anyone with a current FLT license will still need to undergo training and assessment to determine suitability. If you also have clamp experience, that's a plus!
Shifts typically last around 10-12 hours, working 3-4 days per week.
Working hours are from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, including weekend shifts. The client will notify you of your shifts a week in advance.
From Friday 10pm to Sunday 10pm, shifts are paid at an enhanced rate of £19.48 per hour. Bank holiday working enhancements are also included.
Operators will operate and manage industrial trucks to load and unload materials, move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, trucks, or storage facilities.
Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities:
1. Unload and upload materials
2. Identify damages
3. Report shortages
4. Report quality deficiencies
5. Transport raw materials to production workstations
6. Inspect machinery
7. Determine the need for repairs
8. Keep updated records of inventory
9. Produce activity logs
10. Comply with company policies and guidelines
11. Assist in maintaining a safe environment
Forklift Operator requirements and qualifications:
1. Experience as a forklift operator or similar role is essential
2. Attention to detail
3. Good knowledge of industrial equipment
4. Excellent physical condition
5. Good coordination
6. Valid certification/licenses to operate forklifts
7. Good time-management skills
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
9. SAP and WMS knowledge is desirable
