Job summary This is a key post in enabling SBUHB to deliver pathways for dentistry serving the Health Boards' population. The Senior Service Manager will play a key role in managing and delivering Primary Care's Oral and Dental Health services, with aparticular focus on service improvement. Main duties of the job The Senior Service Manager will play a key role in managing and delivering Primary Care's Oral and Dental Health services, with a particular focus on service improvement. o The post will be responsible for the delivery of effective performance management, service and financial framework targets, communication and information governance for the designated area of responsibility. o The post will lead on the referral to assessment and treatment targets (RTT) and support the Deputy Head of Primary Care in effectively managing the patient pathway performance and service improvement within the service group. o The post will be required to interpret and implement national guidelines to ensure effective delivery of clinical services within areas of responsibility as well as interpret national policy relating to patient's pathway and access targets and make recommendations to the service group on changes to ensure compliance. o Work with senior managers and teams to identify opportunities for continual service improvement.
