I am recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving secondary school in Macclesfield, which is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time Religious Education Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students, encourage meaningful discussions, and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and spiritual growth.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore faith, ethics, and moral perspectives.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
* Promote the school’s values and foster a strong sense of community and respect among students.
What We Are Looking For
* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching Religious Education.
* A strong understanding of world religions, ethical issues, and moral philosophy.
* Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills.
* A teacher who is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to delivering high-quality RE lessons.
