We are looking for Support Workers to join our well-established team in Inverness supporting a young man with a variety of support needs to lead his best life in his own home.
A bit about the young man you would be supporting:
“I live in Inverness and enjoy a routine-based life in the local community, with lots of trips to the swimming pool, Cinema, Eden Court, restaurants, and family visits. I require consistency in approach, and I flourish under guidance and direction from my support team. I would like you to be a good listener with attention to detail, and to be proactive with me. I require help with all aspects of my life including cooking, cleaning, household tasks, shopping, and planning my day to what is realistic to the way I view the world. In return, I promise a very jovial attitude with plenty of “mischief” to be had, a loving demeanour and lots of plans I’d like you to help make happen!”
A variety of support hours available including evenings and sleepovers, with 24hr shifts (inclusive of sleepover) being a possibility if this fits your work-home balance.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who hold a valid UK drivers licence as he has his own car and can only mobilise independently for short distances. Don’t worry if you do not have a drivers licence! We would still love to hear from you as we have vacancies throughout our Inverness Service.
