Job Description
* Run events related to the sector/ new product offerings
* Lead on all PR and Communication activity
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure the consistency of brand messaging
* Manage media relations and maximise media opportunities
* Develop content for corporate communications
* Develop and monitor the communications department's budget
* Create communication and marketing strategies for new products and services
* Research and analyse industry trends
* Prepare detailed media activity reports
The Successful Applicant
A successful Communications Manager should have:
* A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of the retail industry
* Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication strategies
* Proficiency in project management and execution
* Ability to work well in a team setting and to lead and inspire a team
