Surrey Police are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Estates Development Team in delivering a number of estate development projects across their estate.
Surrey Police operates a number of buildings across the county, with Mount Browne in Guildford serving as the primary headquarters. Mount Browne has been central to Surrey Police operations for over 70 years and is currently in crucial planning stages which will see a complete redevelopment of the site.
With the Mount Browne development project underway the force now requires the development of a key sites to enable this this transitional period.
Reporting to the Head of Estates Capital Programme, the Senior Project Manager is critical to the transformation of the Surrey Police estate. With expertise and an innovative approach to project management, there is an opportunity to lead major capital projects across Surrey to meet the vision and needs of the Force.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a diverse range of technically complex capital projects, whilst gaining major project experience through working closely on long-term strategy for Mount Browne. The postholder will also have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through the management of internal and external project professionals.
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in project leadership roles across property and estates portfolios of significant complexity. You will have demonstrable technical and commercial skills in the construction industry, with experience gained on projects of significant technical complexity such as refurbishment, conversion and redevelopment schemes.
