We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training & Capability Coordinator who would be responsible for curating, delivering and continuous fine-tuning of new starter & current employee training. It will involve developing, heading up and executing our training and capability strategy to ensure that all our field sales staff are receiving world class training and practices from the moment they join our organisation. This role requires a strategic leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in training/L&D & Capability management. You will be responsible for the performance and continual improvement of a field force of around 150 sales people, 20 Territory Managers and 2 Regional Managers. The roles will be training an intake of circa 15-20 people a every 2 weeks. You will also be tasked with upgrading the existing training module and then continually improving and adapting this to refine, with client approval. This role will be a hybrid between head office (Shoreditch) and being out in the field with Regional & Territory Managers. Specific Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering and continuous fine-tuning of new starter training Management of first 30-day onboarding period, including intense hyper-care and final assessment in trade Training consists of 5 full days every 2 weeks – 2 days classroom training, 1-day role-plays, followed by 2 days shadowing in their region Each training wave has Circa 15 new Field Sales Execs – feedback loop to recruitment team for new starter assessments Hypercare is roughly 4 weeks for each Field Sales Exec – aiming for all new starters to achieve set KPIs by end of 30 days During hypercare some Field Sales Execs will go on PIPs – This will need you to create and manage PIPs with line managers Any Field Sales Execs on PIPs needs 121 on job training – including trade visits and in trade evaluations of any barriers Management of ad-hoc briefing sessions into wider trade Management of capability building and assessing knowledge gaps across RM, TM and Field Sales Execs About You? Proven experience as a Training & Capability Coordinator or similar senior sales role. You will have a passion for the industry and be able to clearly demonstrate your proven ability to build develop and execute world class training services. You will be a high energy ‘people person’ and a ‘detail orientated’ individual. A brilliant and clear communicator, you’ll thrive on naturally forging relationships with team members and have a confident and energetic presence. You will love using the agency Technology Platform to solve problems, meet challenges and streamline processes. You will become a natural advocate and trainer of the tech platform. Highly presentable and ability to personally convey our brand attributes – professional, knowledgeable, confident, honest, and trustworthy. Strong social capabilities played out in building relationships with internal employees and senior stakeholders. A lover of using technology in the field and an aptitude for system processes, development, and compliance management of online databases. Good to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and strong initiative for self-learning as reporting requirements develop over time. Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint for building client-facing presentation decks, as well as training materials for wider external teams. High level of spoken and written English, and eye for detail in producing both internal and external copy. Native English speaker preferred. Excellent attention to detail and meticulous personal admin. Highly motivated and disciplined individual able to work on their own initiative and ‘make things happen’ through a determined resolute approach.
