The Role:
• Create manifests of daily orders for warehouse collection requirements.
• Assist with daily collection exceptions; coordinate daily collection capacity between warehouse and third-party carrier.
• Use a specific system to create daily orders, shipping labels, and collection bookings.
• Support the customer service team for daily order delivery exceptions.
• Receive and respond to emails, forwarding them to the appropriate personnel if necessary.
• Order related supplies from the carrier when needed; keep track of all the supplies in and out.
• Obtain and organise relevant data, analyse anomalies, and summarise them.
• Assist and optimise billing exceptions between the carrier and our account.
• Support internal transport, including planning driver transport work and routes, addressing temporary emergency transportation needs, communicating smoothly with drivers, understanding their needs, monitoring vehicle conditions, and reporting/resolving any issues promptly.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Must have a valid visa to work in the UK (this position does not sponsor visas).
• A professional and adaptable communication style – must be both written and verbal in Mandarin/Chinese and English.
• Having a supply chain or related background will be an advantage but is not essential.
• Efficient administrative skills.
• Currently holding a UK driving license will be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
• A proactive attitude and an enthusiastic approach.
• Good attention to detail, self-motivated, a good team player, and hard-working.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Hours: 176 hours per month, Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £26,200.00-£27,000.00 per year.
