Professional Technical are currently on the search for an Operations Manager for a leading Aviation Manufacturing pioneer within their electrical and power department. Their site is based in the Aylesbury surrounding area and is a temporary 6-month fixed-term contract with potential of extension.
This is a fixed-term contract paying up to £60k per annum or Inside IR35.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who has extensive experience working within the Aerospace industry with strong knowledge and skills in:
1. Production and manufacturing
2. Quality assurance and compliance
3. Supply chain and logistics management
4. Project and program management
5. Budgeting and cost control
6. Leadership and development
7. Health, safety and environmental management
8. Customer and stakeholder communication
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include:
1. Operational understanding in an Aerospace environment
2. Able to interface with Engineering regarding rework/concession
3. Strong links to planning to ensure delivery of the production plan
4. Output and quality focused individual
5. Able to motivate the production team
