We are looking for an Sales Person - Key Accounts to join us at our PDM Head Offce in Glasgow PDM Huws Gray have been a leading supplier of above and below ground drainage, pressure pipeline products and civil engineering materials to the Scottish market since 1993. The business model was expanded in 2021 to incorporate our parent company Huws Gray creating a platform of 24 branches in Scotland with over 350 colleagues. We pride ourselves in the service and relationships we have developed with contractors and our supply chain over the past 25 years. This has been achieved by working closely with contractors and to understand their job specific requirements, this enables our business to target cost savings and added value solutions to ensure efficiencies are maximized. The main focus of the role will be to develop our Key Accounts, starting at pre-Construction stage working through the stages to ultimately secure orders. The role will identify opportunities of developing partnerships with Key Accounts in various sectors including Rail, Power, Infrastructure, Commercial and House Building. There will also be a requirement to provide support on wider existing business within the Key Accounts Office which includes the Public Sector and Housing Associations. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Sales Person with PDM: Working within the Contracts Office team supporting the Huws Gray and PDM brands in developing sales with key designated accounts and new business opportunities. Project Work: monitoring ABI leads and working alongside manufacturers to develop business opportunities for key civils and infrastructure projects. Developing relationships with site agents and contract managers to establish specific job requirements.
