What we can offer you; Refer an Engineer to us once you’ve joined and earn £1000 Access to our people’s pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Assist in the safe and efficient continuous operation of a waste-fired high-pressure steam boiler and turbo-generator, together with associated auxiliary plant Carry out first-line fault diagnosis, plant inspections & routines Ensure day to day compliance with all aspects of the Environmental Permit, reporting any non-compliance or incident to the Shift Team Leader Assist other Company staff and contractors as required Undertake continuing personal development to enhance knowledge & skills relevant to the role What we're looking for; Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent Show a keen interest in mechanical and electrical equipment with some experience of process plant operations Able to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Able to work a continuous rotating shift pattern, including adequate voluntary overtime to cover the workload and colleagues’ absences What's next?
