COMMUNITY CONTINENCE NURSE - BAND 5 - 26.25 hours per week permanent We are currently seeking dynamic and creative nurses with a special interest in Continence nursing to join our Community Continence Advisory team who provide specialist clinical and education services across South Tees and Hambleton and Richmondshire localities. Currently, the South Tees base is Low Grange Health Village and Hambleton & Richmondshire base is Friary Clinic, Richmond. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for caring for patients with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction and a wish to extend their expertise in this field and be part of a team dedicated to providing excellent care across our community. With an ethos of continence promotion and Our service provides a range of clinic, telephone and home patient contacts. Our working hours are Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30 on a flexible basis to meet the needs of the service. Applications for flexible hours will be considered on an individual basis. You will need to have the ability to be able to travel across the localities. Main duties of the job The candidate will be an autonomous skilled practitioner who will be implementing treatment based on expert clinical practice for people with continence issues and assist other health care professionals providing care in a range of settings. You will need to be confident in delivering education to patients, families, care staff & other professionals and ideally have experience of Continence and /or urology nursing. The successful candidate will be given a structured induction period of training, education and support for this role.
